Updates: we significantly cut the budget, from $88k to $65k. We cut pizza cost from $55k to $49k, Nounish Merch from $20k to $12k, and Nounish Coordination/Activation/Video Production from $13k to $4k.
Incorporating feedback to find additional ways to onboard to Nouns (at no additional cost), we added a governance activation with Nouns Builder. To make sure Nounish SubDAOs are still highly involved in the global event, we'll coordinate with them separately to fund their activations.
On May 22, 2025 (Bitcoin Pizza Day), PizzaDAO will organize our fifth annual Global Pizza Party. This year, we're bringing the party to 420 cities across more than 100 countries, expecting a combined total of over 25,000 guests worldwide. That's nearly double the size of last year's event, which took place in 200+ cities across 80+ countries with over 15,000 guests. Here's 2024's map:
We invite the global Nouns DAO community to join our celebration for the third year in a row, continuing to make history together and building on what we've learned collaborating on proposals 284 and 522. The $65,000 requested will go towards buying pizza, supporting Nounish Captains, and sending Nounish party kits all over the world.
Pizza is a noun, after all. We show the world that you can put any noun in front of DAO and build towards everyone's idea of what a DAO for that noun would be. Together, PizzaDAO and Nouns DAO remind everyone that strangers can come together through the power of memes, the internet, and the blockchain and make wonderful things happen.

We are a global community of builders, pizza enthusiasts, creators, collectors, artists, and rebels who believe in using crypto to make the world a better place.
PizzaDAO is made up of new entrants to the industry as well as crypto veterans, including Nouns DAO members, CryptoPunk holders, Gitcoin KERNEL Fellows, and builders of all kinds. This unique mix makes our events ideal onboarding environments. Today, PizzaDAO alumni work on countless other projects in the crypto space, a direct result of our commitment to education and fun!

To date, PizzaDAO has given away over $1,000,000 worth of real, edible pizza in more than 80 countries and built a global community thousands strong. You might have shared some pizza with us during previous global pizza parties, at our crypto conference side events, or at one of the many smaller events we've supported. We’ve thrown four global pizza parties, organized 42+ crypto conference side events, and built strong partnerships with many organizations across the onchain ecosystem.

PizzaDAO came together in February 2021 with 314 contributing artists to create the generative pizza NFT Rare Pizzas and throw a Global Pizza Party with the sales proceeds.
Our long-term goals are to make the global pizza party mainstream, tokenize pizzerias and pizzeria real estate, and build an open source pizza francheese.

The past two years, PizzaDAO coordinated our Nounish Global Pizza Party activities internally. This year, as we continue to scale, we're bringing on Mono as a dedicated central organizer for all the Nounish activity around the day.
In our last proposal, we promised to deliver Nounish gear to 16 cities for 2024. We way over-delivered on this: we sent Nounish kits to 53 cities! Each city received some combination of Big Shot's Plastic Noggles, Pins, and Toys, Big Shot's Paper Noggles that we received as part of Prop 334, and Motivate's Plastic Noggles.
Big Shot's Lo-Fi Noggles and Plastic Noggles make for great group photos and Motivate's Plastic Noggles and Big Shot's Noggles Pins offer the longest-term return as recipients tend to wear them again at future events. This year, we'll focus on distributing Big Shot's Lo-Fi Noggles and other Nounish gear to the largest events and Motivate's Plastic Noggles and Big Shot's Noggles Pins to the others. As part of 2024's proposal we funded Nouns Breakers to perform, Nouns E-Sports to set up gaming stations, a Prop House for Africa's events, and a Nounish art contest on Nifty.ink (this one below was our favorite):
This year, we'll work with Nounish SubDAOs to fund their own activations within pizza day:
Gnars DAO: We'll do a competition for skaters to olly pizza boxes at our events, like Vlad did in this video from ETHDenver 2024.
Nouns Amigos: Local members will organize Nouns Amigos trivia at events all across LATAM.
Nouns Builder: As an educational experience, we are going to launch a Nounish DAO using Nouns Builder and airdrop governance tokens in this new DAO to all our party attendees. Individual cities will then submit props and have all holders vote on their favorite. The idea is to both introduce the Nounish DAO mechanism while distributing funds to sponsor activations after Pizza Day to continue the fun.
We want to have many other Noun communities and projects at the pizza parties and are in touch to define their collaboration: Lil Nouns, Public Nouns, Yellow Collective, Nouns Brasil, Based Nouns, Kendama DAO, pNouns, Nouns Malaysia, Nouns Singapore, and Nouns Craft.
