From Japan to America. We would like to carry out nounish art activities beyond borders and language barriers!
Hello. My name is Makoto Tagawa, a painter.
I'm an artist who creates art programs for children and children with autism. (Please view this video on our art and autism ↗)
I'm travelling from Japan to America with my partner to share my art, and I'm bringing Nouns along! We will be making three stops on our trip:
-
Nounish art workshops at local elementary schools, libraries, and more in Illinois.
-
"Pop Pop TOKYO": Our Nouns themed painting will be exhibited in Times Square during NFT NYC.
-
Give a presentation on the activities of the Pray for Peace Collection funded by Nouns Prop House at a school institution in New York City!
We would like to raise funds for travel expenses to hold workshops where we will draw with children on the theme of Nouns and to implement Nounish activities with people we have met online through WEB3 and Nouns.
The details of what we will be doing are as follows. ⌐◨-◨ 🔥.
1. Nounish art workshops at elementary schools and libraries in Illinois using the drawing material "Kitpas". Window art with Children! Coloring!
Drawing workshops will be held with children using environmental solid marker kitpas.
⭕️ To commemorate this event, we will develop a limited package of Nounish Kitpas as a product and donate them to elementary schools.
What a surprise! We have already scheduled workshops at two local schools, libraries and restaurants!
2. "Pop Pop TOKYO" Art Exhibit at NFT NYC:
Our artwork (seen below) will be displayed during NFT NYC in New York City!
We will be at the NFT NYC event this spring, wearing noggles, meeting various people and reporting on the event!
Not only that, but we will be delivering a video in conjunction with World Autism Awareness Day on April 2nd!
On April 2nd, World Autism Awareness Day, which is designated by the United Nations, we will wear Blue Noggles and deliver our report while touring the Empire State Building, which will be lit up with blue lights, and other locations!
-

3. Give a presentation on the activities of the Pray for Peace Collection funded by the Nouns Prop House at a school institution in New York City!
We were previously funded by Nouns Prop House in relation to the Pray for Peace Collection. On this trip we plan to visit a NYC based university and present on this experience/collection.
As a report on our activities, we will take pictures of us introducing Nouns DAO and the Pray for Peace Collection that we have realized through Nouns in Japan to teachers and students during the school term, and report back with photos on social networking sites, etc.
Note: We are currently in talks with a local professor and will announce on Twitter as soon as it is decided where the event will be held.
